Boulder Amplifiers
The Boulder 3050 Mono Amplifier, our flagship, is our most powerful, largest, and most luxurious product in over 30 years of sound system design. These are Boulder’s premier power amplifiers, the unequivocal peak of our abilities.
1,500 watt power output into any load means absolute clarity and control of loudspeakers.
120 output transistors for unequaled damping and power delivery. Four transformers per amplifier, each DC filtered, sealed in machined housings, and potted in a proprietary epoxy for silent operation.
Production of the 3060 Stereo Amplifier is extremely limited and every unit is built to order. 900W per channel power output into any loudspeaker load.
60 bipolar output transistors per channel mean unmatched control of any loudspeaker system.
Five power transformers, housed in machined cases and potted to absolutely eliminate any noise, vibration or hum.
Boulder's most powerful continuously manufactured amplifier: the 2150 Mono Amp. 1000W into any load. Designed as a fully-balanced, true monaural amplifier for ideal loudspeaker interface.
Massive instant power delivery and damping from 80 bipolar output transistors. Dual gain stage design maximizes bandwidth by incorporating the majority of gain in the first stage.
Boulder Link for turn-on and turn-off of amplifiers and to send status messages to the display of any Boulder preamplifier.
Boulder's most powerful, continually produced stereo amplifier: the 2160. 600W per channel.
Bias operation is Class-A to full rated output power and managed with an analog circuit that minimizes heat and power consumption. Fully-balanced design from the inputs to the outputs substantially reduces distortion and noise.
Two pairs of speaker connections per channel to accommodate bi-wired loudspeakers.
The 1160 Stereo Amp with 300 watts of output power can drive any reasonable loudspeaker to realistic levels.
Robust output section using 56 output transistors means excellent reliability, control, and power with any loudspeaker. Dual power transformers are DC filtered and enclosed a welded steel case for perfectly silent operation.

The 1161 Stereo Amp outputs 200W peak power per channel into 8 ohms, 350W peak power into 4 ohms, 450W peak power into 2 ohms. Space saving design is the same footprint (width and depth) as the 1110 Preamplifier and lower power output allows the use of a standard power cord.
Superior signal handling and resolution achieved using Boulder's own 985 gain stage, just as in the larger 1160 Stereo Amplifier. Complete smart-home and integration compatibility with 12V trigger, IP control, and networked HTML page.
Two versions of the 866 Integrated Amp are available to suit any system: all-analog for more traditional systems and analog+digital for the streaming digital media listener. Excellent power, dynamics, and control from 200W of amplifier power into any loudspeaker load.
A full-color touch screen displays all of the available inputs and setup features in addition to the amplifier's status and setup modes. A dedicated Boulder app controls the 866 and makes custom setup adjustments, including adding photos of your sources to the inputs shown on the 866's front panel, optional RF remote for volume control and switching inputs also available.
