Masterline 7 Phono Preamp
The HSE Phono Preamp Masterline 7 (ML-7) represents the pinnacle of Audio Engineering, shown here on its antivibration support stand. Engineered for a life expectancy of at least 30 years, only the highest quality handmade Swiss components are utilized. 12 HSE discrete Class A Gain-stage and 2 Zero-ohm Class A ultra-low noise head-amps guarantee best possible audio performance. For uncompromising EMC shielding, the case of the ML-7 is milled from a solid aluminum block, protecting the electronics with a 20mm strong housing. Gold plated dials allow the adjustments of the Dual Mono Preamp for each channel individually. Each device passes a 2-week continuous hardening and maturing test to reach the finest sound quality.
All electronic components are hand-selected and matched up to 0.1% maximum variance. To reach the ultimate uncompromising sound, only the industries best components, from ELMA, Goldpoint, NKK, Panasonic, WIMA, Neutrik, Schurter, and HSE in-house wound coils are being used. The audio signal passes our proprietary HSE silverteflon wiring and the oversized toroidal transformer featuring static and magnetic shielding. The Impedance selector is optimized for the industryleading Benz, Lyra, XYZ, Ortophon pickups. The unique extensive gain range of the Masterline 7 equally supports all alternative pickups of choice, no matter how minimal their output levels are.
VARIABLE EQUALIZER
OPTION FOR ML-7
We are glad to introduce the Variable Equalizer (VAREQ) option. Both, the VAREQ top plate and the EQ circuit can be integrated in the HSE Phono Preamp Masterline 7 (ML-7), where only the highest quality handmade Swiss components are utilized. Thanks to the newly integrated variable equalizer, a more accurate reproduction of LPs which do not have a RIAA filtering is possible. The new option can optimize all your recordings. You can now choose between 12 roll-off and 12 turnover positions per channel to find the very best sounding position.
The true-balanced Class A equalizer makes a precise linearization control possible. Every LP can be de-emphasized to compensate for the RIAA curve. This high precision passive filter makes it possible to manually adjust for optimal performance. The high precision is possible thanks to the filter which is made from a total of 88 high quality metalized film polypropylene WIMA capacitors and 4 high quality class A gain stages. Long life is guaranteed thanks to the 4 ELMA rotary switches.

Phono Preamp
The Referenceline 7 (RL-7) is the little brother of the award-winning Masterline 7 (Grand Prix 2019). The new device includes an integrated preamp containing a variable headphone output and the main volume control. Engineered for a life expectancy of at least 30 years, only the highest quality handmade Swiss components are utilized.
The RL-7 is based on the same Zero-ohm Class A ultra-low noise head-amps as the ML-7. This guarantees best possible audio performance and lowest noise. The system contains an audio unit and the power supply. Both champagne-colored cases are made of milled and brushed aluminum with anodized printing. The rotary controls are built with hand-matched ALPS blue velvet components. Each device passes a 2-week continuous hardening and maturing test to reach the finest sound quality. All the important electronic components are hand-selected and matched up to 0.1% maximum variance.

12 HSE discrete Class A Gain-stage and 2 Zero-ohm Class A ultra-low noise head-amps guarantee best possible audio performance. The Audio pass is fully balanced, discrete and high voltage. ML-8 case is milled from aluminum, glass-bead blasted, anodized printing with a 20mm strong face plate and several 24-carat-hard-gold plated parts.
